As well as individual sessions, we run regular group workshops. These creative workshops generate a great group dynamic that can create an extraordinarily powerful effect. These are experiential workshops that take the theory and put it into action, where therapy and self-development come to life. Participants learn a huge amount about themselves in a completely supportive environment. They find themselves awoken by the knowledge they gain at a deeper level, leaving workshops invigorated and energised. The workshops tend to attract those who have some experience of the holistic world but this is not compulsory – all we ask of participants is an open mind and readiness to engage with the group.

THE DRU YOGA WORKSHOP PROGRAMME

Dru yoga is a graceful form of yoga based on flowing movements, focussed breathing and inner visualisation. It encourages a positive, healthier and more peaceful existence.

With its foundations set in Hatha yoga, Dru can be practiced by everyone creating a healthier, happier, more empowered way of living. For all age groups, from all walks of life and all fitness levels the benefits of Dru yoga are many.

Dru yoga invites an improvement in strength and flexibility, a heightened feeling of positivity, and a deeper sense of relaxation and rejuvenation for the whole of your being, body, mind and spirit.



THE TAI CHI/CHI KUNG WORKSHOP PROGRAMME

We need to allow ourselves time to step back and ‘smell the flowers’. To disconnect from our hectic world and reconnect with our deeper selves and the rhythms of nature. Learning a process such as Chi Kung and Tai Chi offers us the opportunity to remember our core values and reassess what life is all about.

Tai Chi, sometimes called ‘Moving Mediation’, is a low impact gentle form of exercise suitable for all. Tai Chi Chuan has many benefits to one’s health and well being regardless of age or present fitness levels. Slow, graceful movements encourage relaxation, deep breathing, balance, coordination and a meditative state of mind; the result being a calmer, healthier, stronger and more confident individual.

Chi Kung is an ancient Chinese art of relaxation and healing using gentle exercise linked to the breath – an extraordinary technique for developing mind and body coordination.

Using the Chakra System working from root to crown these workshops will provide the opportunity to further your awareness of the self at the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels.



THE ANAM CARA TAI CHI/CHI KUNG ‘TASTER’ MORNING

If you suffer from tension, unidentified aches and pains, high blood pressure, sleepless nights, anger, stress, anxiety, low vitality etc then this course is for you. In addition a poor posture causes tension and stress in the body and therefore a loss in energy – by reconnecting to our body we can physically relax and give the mind space to re-energise.



AN EVENING DEMONSTRATION OF PERSONAL HEALING VIA DEEP MEMORY PROCESS AND PAST LIFE REGRESSION

Deep Memory Process (DMP) is a creative synthesis of Jung, Freud, Reich, Psychodrama, Spiritual Psychology, and Shamanic Healing. Where many therapies focus on the mental level, DMP transforms mind, emotion and spirit in one comprehensive process. Particular attention is given to those “post-mortem” states called Bardos by Tibetan Buddhism.

With Deep Memory Process a profound healing on the body level can be achieved. It has been shown to be highly effective in treating anxiety, depression, phobias, stress, chronic pain, blocked feelings, and especially childhood trauma and catastrophic trauma held within “past life” residues embedded in the body.

We live in exciting times, times of much cultural change, especially in the ways that we understand spirituality, healthcare and human development. Reflection and self management are essential as we are challenged to steer through the dilemmas, paradoxes, suffering and stimulations of daily life. For this we need psychological insight, mindfulness and body awareness.

We run a limited number of bespoke workshops to ensure that each one is filled with people willing to engage and discover – and share with others making the same journey. These workshops are genuinely unique, with Anam Cara’s practitioners using their own knowledge and experience to create something insightful and fresh every time. Our team of practitioners will, over time, develop new workshops centred on their specialty so do keep checking back for new events.
